The Legal Vitals check-up
The check-up is an educational self-assessment, not a legal opinion and not an audit. It asks nine general questions and returns a number. It does not know your industry's specific rules, your contracts, your payroll records, or your history, and it cannot see the issues that matter most in a real review. It is not legal advice.
A high score does not mean your business is compliant or without risk; conversely, a low score does not mean you are in trouble. It merely identifies a range of risk factors that could affect your business. The score is a prompt to look closer, nothing more, and it creates no attorney-client relationship.
What the check-up records, and how to have it deleted, is described in the Privacy Policy.
Statistics, charts, and figures
Figures cited on singler-law.net come from third-party sources that are identified where they appear, including published surveys and industry studies. We believe them to be accurate when published, but we do not independently verify them.
Charts labeled illustrative are exactly that. They show the shape of how exposure tends to concentrate and compound. They are not a prediction, a valuation, or an estimate of what any particular business faces.
Tables reproducing statutory figures — filing fees, franchise tax amounts, penalty ranges — reflect the law as we understood it on the date above. Those numbers change. Check the current figure before relying on one.
Fees and published pricing
Flat fees shown on singler-law.net are for defined scopes of work, are effective January 1, 2026, are subject to change on notice, and exclude government filing fees. They are subject to a signed written fee agreement, and the scope is confirmed in your Strategy Session before anything is signed. Nothing on this site is an offer that can be accepted without that agreement. Once you sign, the price for the scope described in your agreement will be honored, and you will be notified if circumstances require work outside of the agreed scope and how the rate or basis for those additional charges is calculated.
Testimonials and client comments
Any client comment appearing on singler-law.net is that person's own experience and is published with permission. It is not a guarantee, warranty, or prediction about your matter, and prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.
Testimonials are not paid. The testimonials were voluntarily submitted by clients, who gave their permission to publish the review, as well as their identitiy.
Awards and recognitions
Recognitions named on this site are conferred by third-party organizations under their own criteria, identified by the exact name the organization uses and the year. They are not a guarantee of results, not an endorsement by any bar association or court, and not a designation of special competence in any field of law. See our Attorney Advertising notice.
Bilingual materials
The firm provides services in English and Spanish, and materials on singler-law.net may appear in both. Where a translation and the English version differ, the English version controls unless a signed agreement says otherwise. If any translated passage is unclear, ask us and we will explain it in whichever language is easier for you.
Any disclosure or disclaimer required by the rules of professional conduct appears in the same language as the material it accompanies.
Accessibility
Singler Professional Law Corporation is committed to making singler-law.net usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We build with that goal in mind and we treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a box that gets checked once.
We know there can be occasions when a visitor still has difficulty. If you have trouble accessing any material on singler-law.net, or if something here is not working with the assistive technology you use, please tell us. We will provide the information you were looking for in another format, at no charge, and work to fix the underlying problem.
Report an accessibility barrier: email [email protected] or call (707) 823-8719. Please tell us the page and what you were trying to do. Your feedback and ideas are genuinely useful to us.
